India's Premier
Corbett Specialists
Jim Corbett National Park, established in 1936 as Hailey National Park, is Asia's first national park. Situated in the Himalayan foothills of Uttarakhand, it spans 1,318 sq km of Sal forests, Chaur grasslands, and the iconic Ramganga river valley.
The birthplace of Project Tiger in 1973, Corbett today shelters 260+ Royal Bengal Tigers — the highest density in the world. Beyond tigers: Asian Elephants, Leopards, Mugger Crocodiles, Gharials, Sloth Bears, and over 580 bird species.
At Forest Safaris India, we handle every permit, FRH night-stay, naturalist guide, hotel, and meal — so your only job is to witness the wild.
Ranthambore
National Park
Once the private hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur, Ranthambore is now one of India's most reliable places to see a wild tiger in daylight. The 392 sq km reserve sits where the Aravalli and Vindhya hill ranges meet, and the 10th-century Ranthambore Fort still stands at its heart, its ruined domes and stepwells rising straight out of the jungle.
Ten safari zones fan out around three lakes — Padam Talao, Malik Talao and Raj Bagh — where tigers are often seen resting in the open on the crumbling cenotaphs, in full view. The dry deciduous forest thins out in summer, pushing wildlife toward the water and making April–May the sharpest sighting window, while winter mornings bring crocodiles basking on the lake edges and easier birding.
We run the same door-to-door service here as Corbett: zone permits, gypsy or canter safaris, resort bookings and a naturalist who knows every tigress's territory by name.
